Dear colleagues,

Just a few months left before ERC 2024 and we are already looking forward to seeing you all in Rome!

Once again, it will be a great opportunity to discuss the future of Registrars, the formal recognition and its ethical nature, while focusing on current topics.

We chose to follow up with sustainability and to highlight international heritages, new territories and new frontiers.

We couldn’t help but add a section dedicated to the “Made in Italy”! It will be a unique insight on specific elements of the everyday Italian practice, hoping to support you on future projects in collaboration with our country, TOGETHER!

Arrivederci a Roma!

President, Registrarte

Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone

Our event will take place in a beautiful auditorium which was designed by Renzo Piano and created to house the National Academy of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. In recent years, it has become one of the largest hubs of culture and entertainment in Europe with events spanning various genres of music, dance, theatre and art. After the passing of Ennio Morricone in 2020, the venue was named in his honour.

Many exhibitions spaces are located within the Auditorium such as the Aristaios Museum, the Museum of Musical Instruments, Sound Corner, Auditorium Garage, Auditorium Arte and many more.

The Fondazione Musica per Roma, a non-profit organisation, has a policy for sustainable management of its spaces, such as the Auditorium, which makes it the perfect location to discuss the Registrar’s engagement in the collections and exhibitions sustainable management.
